Tick, Tick, Snap

This is the shortest chapter in GRAVE NORTH: Book One – Kiara Hart, subtitled They Were Encircled. A sliver of story, yet it holds the weight of oceans.

Kiara’s grief echoes my own—losing a father at thirteen, a mother at thirty-eight. Grief doesn’t fade; it shifts, whispering and roaring in turn.

This poem is a dream, a message from the dark. As Kiara sleeps, sorrow begins to speak.

Written in mourning, these lines reach for light. They are a quiet testament to loss, resilience, and the beauty born from pain.

I offer them with hope: that they reflect something in you, bring comfort, or simply stillness.

May they linger. May they matter.
